Welcome to SavvySearch, an experimental search system designed to query multiple internet search engines simultaneously. Use the Search Form to enter your query, indicate whether you would like to search for all or any of the query terms, and indicate the number of results desired from each search engine. When you submit your query, a Search Plan is created wherein the nineteen search engines are ranked and divided into groups. Ranking factors include:

A parallel search is performed when a group of search engines is selected from the search plan. The groups are displayed in order of anticipated usefulness from left to right (top to bottom), so the leftmost (top) entry contains the most favored group, and the rightmost (bottom) contains those predicted to be least useful, based on the above factors.

SavvySearch queries the search engines listed below. While SavvySearch provides a convenient interface, you are encouraged to visit them directly, as each provides a unique and powerful service.
