Congratulation! Your Answer is Correct.

Answer: (D)  Fundic gland polyp.

Discussion: First, you should find out the location where the biopsy was obtained. In low magnification, it looks like a gastrointestinal polyp. The images from Panel D and E clearly show features of gastric fundus and is where this biopsy was obtained.

The polpoid nodule is covered by intact mucosa. There are many small dilated cysts of which some of them are lined by attenuated single layer of epithelial cells. With these features in the gastric fundus, the correct diagnosis is a fundic gland polyp.
